London Central Cruise Moorings was created to serve the contract awarded by the Port of London Authority (PLA) to operate under franchise, all cruise vessels using the London Cruise Moorings.Vessels are received and dispatched mainly from Tower Bridge Upper, Tower Bridge Lower and Greenwich Ship Tier, with the additional facility of the floating pontoon terminal named ‘Welcome’. This latest investment by the PLA enables larger vessels to be handled at Tower Bridge Lower and further provides for additional turnaround calls at Greenwich Ship Tier, with further options of movement supply of persons or stores to ship, from any pier.
